Literary journal launches in Brisbane

Local creative Molly Glassey has rifled through the notebooks and laptops of our city’s up-and-coming writers to craft a new online literary journal.

The riverbends, share houses and suburbs of Brisbane are teeming with creative talent. While the bookstores may offer up established and well-known names in the literary scene, the raw, developing voices often remain unheard. Brisbane-based Molly Glassey recognised the wealth of young, emerging talent in our city and decided to bring those literary heads together with the launch of new online journal, Cow, Hide.

The creative platform collates and shares original fiction, poetry and essays, with a new piece published each day and long-term plans to transition from online to print. Local creatives can submit their work online or tune in to Brisbane’s emerging voices here.
