When Jimmy and Feni went searching for a unique skateboard different to what they had seen before, they struggled to find anything. Inspired to make their vision a reality, the boys went to work handcrafting their own decks, and after a positive response to boards made for their friends, the duo decided to take their hobby to the next level, and make a career out of their passion with Cottage Skateboards.

Inside a Palm Beach cottage, fondly know as The Grainbeck, the boys have recently set up their new home-cum-workshop-cum-showroom. The Cottage Skateboards range has expanded since its original inception, with decks now coming in a variety of shapes, sizes and radical patterns. All items are handmade in the cottage and crafted from sustainable and salvaged materials, with the boys also creating art and furniture as well as skateboards. You can find Jimmy and Feni working away in the cottage on most days during the week (when they’re not out surfing), or at various Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales markets on weekends.
