Designed by budding entrepreneurs Diana Charabin and Jeff House, Cole and Parker socks will keep your feet looking smart, but also use 20 per cent of proceeds from each pair sold to support entrepreneurs living in poverty.

Using the ‘one-for-many’ model, Cole and Parker have partnered with non-profit organisation Kiva, loaning proceeds of each purchase to entrepreneurs in poverty. Through a worldwide network of micro-finance institutions, Kiva has successfully facilitated more than $500 million of loans to entrepreneurs in poverty, with a 99 per cent repayment rate. So by purchasing a few humble pairs of brightly coloured socks online, you can help contribute to multiple start-up companies around the world.
