Slick your tache with Captain Fawcett Limited

In 1905, intrepid explorer Captain Peabody Fawcett disappeared while attempting to navigate the source of the Ubangi – a tributary to the Congo River. Until 1997 no trace of this mission survived, until a battered trunk containing the adventurer’s salves, ointments and a journal of expedition tales and recipes for the perfect moustache wax was found.

Restoring these original formulae, Captain Fawcett Limited produces an Edwardian-bent collection of gentlemen’s grooming requisites. Moustache wax comes in lavender, sandalwood and ylang ylang scents, while the Expedition Strength varietal firms things up to boot. Keep your wax warm by storing it in your waistcoat or trouser pocket, so you can twirl those whiskers into shape at the drop of a bowler hat.

Any well-bearded gent knows a drop of beard oil is like gold in the pocket – essential for being prepared for beard strokeage (it’s bound to happen) and smoothing and soothing wayward whiskers. The Captain’s beard oil is a blend of fragrant essentials oils fused with sweet almond, jojoba and vitamin E-based oils, sporting an intricate scent of cedarwood, black pepper, patchouli and palmarosa.

Or if you prefer a chin that’s smooth and stubble-free, Captain Fawcett also produces a range of shaving accessories, from a badger-hair brush and razor handcrafted in Sheffield, England, to shaving soap boasting top notes of bergamot and mandarin over cardamom, tonka bean, lavender and vanilla.
