Brooklyn Beauty Bar has set up camp in the architecturally intriguing corner of the 15 James section of Fortitude Valley. The petite area features all the stylistic quirks you would expect of an intellectual trek through a Brooklyn library – the salon’s statement wall is adorned with a vibrant bookshelf wallpaper, with sumptuous armchairs to sink back into in the waiting area. The lovely ladies who work at Brooklyn Beauty Bar are also reminiscent of the salon’s inspired origins, with the team adorned in hipster-approved attire of button-ups and bow ties.
Owner Brooke Jesberg has more than 13 years in beauty therapy behind her and, in her latest beauty pursuit, offers a lengthy list of treatments to Brisbane locals. These are intended for both guys and girls to indulge in, from primping and pampering facials and massages to the all-important hair removal, shellacking and polishing of nails.
