Brogues brighten up with Good Guys vegan shoes

Many strides have been taken in the food realm to ensure vegans have plenty of options when it comes to eating. But in the world of fashion, finding vegan-friendly attire can be difficult, especially when it comes to shoes.

Producing footwear that is free of leather and other animal products is shoe label Good Guys. Making a difference, one style-covered foot at a time, this Paris-based unisex brand plays with vintage shapes and styles, while exploring innovation in new materials and production methods.

Following the release of the debut collection in 2011, the spring/summer 2012 range takes inspiration from French new wave stylings and a touch of the Californian surf scene to create an endless summer feel. Featuring technicolour microfibre fabrics stitched atop a brick-and-sand-coloured sole, these water-repellent shoes are androgynous in shape and eye-catching in colour.

The brainchild of French designer and illustrator Marion Hanania, Good Guys combines Marion’s penchant for shoes and vegetarianism with her experience working for designer labels Isabel Marant, Dévastée and Pablo-Gerard Darel, all the while delivering the message ‘don’t wear leather’ to shoe enthusiasts worldwide. These bright brogues and boots are available to purchase online.
