Treat yourself to some handmade goodness at the Brisbane Twilight Market

This weekend’s Brisbane Twilight Market will see more than 70 stallholders showcasing their unique handmade wares, with a backdrop of twinkling lights and a roving jazz band.

One stallholder with a specific community focus is Bec Lewis from Little Brown Dog Workshop, who will be selling a small range of ladies and girls tunics made from up-cycled fabrics such as pre-owned denim and tea towels, as well as a range of community-inspired cushions and lino prints.

Bec is particularly interested in showcasing the beauty that Ipswich has to offer. Her involvement in #projectipswich has flaunted the beauty of Ipswich through photography – one hashtag at a time. Bec has also used Ipswich as her inspiration for Little Brown Dog Workshop. Her decorative block lino prints use vintage newspapers collected from a selection of old Queenslanders and she reinterprets the styling of these Queenslanders on the newspaper-clad lino prints, as well as her selection of cushions.

Take the opportunity with this beautifully mild start to winter to wander around the Brisbane Twilight Market and be inspired by all the gifted stallholders who put their hearts and souls into their handmade creations.
