Best Jumpers combines comfort, craftsmanship and cool

Clever artistry and quality fabrics converge to create ultra-snug, yet super-stylish winter threads.

There is something to be said for doing one thing, and doing it darn well – and Best Jumpers has certainly found its niche in luxe casualwear. The sleek range of unisex trackies, hoodies and elasticised shorts are all cut from the finest quality of Japanese cotton terry in shapes that make comfortwear look surprisingly chic. Melbourne-based Dylan Best brought a design expertise honed at the Parsons School of Design, Ralph Lauren and Club Monaco in New York, and combined it with a laid-back Aussie vibe to launch his new label in May last year.

Best Jumpers released an initial range of unisex trackies and hoodies, which was recently followed up with his tennis-inspired Tyrone series. A neutral colour palette and superior hand-feel make his creations the perfect everyday staples for the Brisbane cold snap. Check out Argo hoodies with hidden kangaroo pockets, Addison shorts washed to give a distressed vintage look and Tyrone cropped carrot-fit pants in Japanese lightweight sporty fabric for ultimate comfort. Dylan plans to expand the current unisex range to incorporate a line of female-specific pieces in the future, as well as a Best Jumpers spin on denim. The label is currently running its first pop-up shop in Melbourne, but Brisbane locals can shop the range online.
