Special delivery! Cult bun-slinger Ben’s Burgers now has merch
The burger craze may well have swept Brisbane and still be going strong, but there is one bun that stands head and shoulders above the rest – we’re talking Ben’s Burgers, baby. Operating on the basis of no substitutions or alterations (only additions), the clean-cut menu at Ben’s boasts a concise collection of burgers that proves you really don’t need to mess with perfection. Oh, and the special sauce? Oof. Now you can wear your heart (and buns) on your sleeve – Ben’s Burgers merch has arrived.
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of wrapping your mitts around one of the buns from the iconic Winn Lane eatery, you would understand why Ben’s Burgers merch is such an exciting concept. Quite simply, these are the kind of burgers you want to proudly proclaim you love for. Owner and founder Ben Chiu has had the idea in the pipeline for a while now, but the idea has only just come to fruition thanks to some hard work and good timing. This first line of merch aligns very closely with the Ben’s Burgers visual brand and features both store logos, with the store’s in-house creative team taking the reigns on design and local pals The Print Bar taking care of manufacturing.
The Ben’s Burgers merch line has started off just like the restaurant’s menu – clean, simple and without any pretence. Two different t-shirt designs are available in a black, white and grey colourway, as well as a cap. The first t-shirt features the Ben’s Burgers text logo on the front, while the second design has the minimalist burger logo on the front with the text on the back. The cap is a crisp white with that famous blue burger icon smack-bang in the middle. The team from Ben’s is currently working with local artists to create some interesting graphics to feature on future products, with more items in the merch line set to drop in the new year.
Itching to get your hands on some Ben’s Burgers merch? The collection drops on Monday December 11 and you can pick up items at the Winn Lane location. Tees are going for $30 each and caps for $35 – get in quick.
