Attention threadheads – NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER team up with Balenciaga for hot collection
You read that right – some of the biggest names in the fashion game today have casually announced a partnership that will have us all scrambling for our credit cards. Esteemed fashion house Balenciaga has paired up with two of the biggest online fashion outlets for a capsule collection of ready-to-wear garments and accessories that will have heads turning all season.
Any time Balenciaga does anything, it’s a big deal. Still, teaming up with the likes of NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER is a bigger deal than most. A brand-new collaboration has been launched with a campaign shot and styled by famed Balenciaga collaborators Johnny Dufort and Lotta Volkova. Inspired by everyday situations, the campaign features staff members from both NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER clad in the gear from the hot-to-trot capsule collection.
For the ladies, NET-A-PORTER’s collection packs a whopping 53 pieces to choose from. Outerwear, denim, jersey tees, hoodies, shirts and dresses – everything you need to put together a few outfits. Covetable items include the iconic Pantashoe in cobalt blue, edgy aluminium bags with chain straps and the Speed sneaker in an exclusive grey colourway. For the gents, MR PORTER is stocking 34 pieces including an exclusive version of the Triple S sneaker in green, and a range of ready-to-wear pieces emblazoned with the BB Mode logo.
