Superstore – Apartment and Violent Green join fashion forces

Ever since their genesis as tucked-away tenants of Elizabeth Arcade, Apartment and Violent Green have both been pushing the boundaries of Brisbane fashion, sourcing sought-after labels from across the globe. Now, two of the city’s best boutiques are officially joining forces for one incredible superstore. Apartment and Violent Green will be opening a new joint location in the heart of Queen Street Mall on Friday November 2, combining tastes and aesthetics for what will assuredly become base camp for Brisbane’s stylish set.

Apartment and Violent Green have been friends for more than a decade and neighbours for the past five years, with their individual Albert Street stores separated by just a single wall. Over this period of time Violent Green’s Simon and Kimberley Sun and Apartment’s Nick and Ben Chiu have actively supported each other’s growth as dependable retailers of premium street fashion. Now the top-tier outfitters are removing the partition entirely, relocating to a joint location above Queen Street Mall, creating a seamless shopping experience for buyers. The space doubles the current footprint of both boutiques, expanding to 240-square feet of cutting-edge clothing.

The relocation will offer up a greater selection of world-renowned labels from Australia and abroad, including Violent Green and Apartment staples such as A.P.C, Perks and Mini, Stone Island, Common Projects, WTAPS, Neighbourhood, Commes des Garçons PLAY and Norse Projects. The Carhartt WIP flagship store will also continue its residency, but keep your eyes peeled for a curated selection of coveted gear from the likes of Opening Ceremony, Standalone, Baserange, Ffixxed Studios and collaborations such as Raf Simons x Fred Perry.

Apartment and Violent Green’s new store opens at 1/115 Queen Street on Friday November 2 at 5:00 pm. For post-launch opening hours, head to the Stumble Guide.
