Ada Hodgson has dropped two stunning collections so far, with her debut being inspired heavily by an imagined cosmic plane. These ethereal designs utilise silver and enamel to create a space-eye view of these imaginary planets. The patterns evoke imagery of topography viewed by satellite – think arid spans of desert, mazes of rivers and harsh cliff faces. The latest collection zooms in on this idea and takes inspiration from garden aesthetics – overt floral motifs share space with bejewelled cobblestone paths and tangled vines. Though one world is imaginary and the other very real, the two collections perfectly complement each other and are a testament to Ada’s creative craftsmanship.
