Long gone are the days when men’s fashion was confined to small corners of large department stores and the word dapper wasn’t part of the common vernacular. Part of a new breed of men’s fashion designers, the folk behind A Kind Of Guise are helping to fuel the renaissance of men’s fashion.
The German-based company places a strong emphasis on quality over quantity and pours thoughtful detail into the functionality of each of its designs. The venture started as a student project in 2009, but quickly came to the attention of stylish lads who wanted more from the label. The initial collection was a range of bags made from leftover leather sourced from an Italian medicine ball factory and, in-keeping with this resourceful attitude, the designers continue to create products that are made to last from locally sourced materials.
Today the collection includes the label’s trademark bags, as well as beanies, shirts, pants, jumpers and accessories. If you aren’t planning on taking trip to Munich any time soon, you can purchase goods from the online shop.
