Sip on some distinctive ales from Wolf of the Willows

Taking the best natural ingredients and turning them into drinkable beers has proven to be a recipe of success for Scotty and Renae McKinnon, who have been distributing Wolf of the Willows all across Australia.

In November 2014, two passionate craft beer enthusiasts established their own brewing company with the vision of creating handcrafted ‘ales of distinction’. In order to ensure the highest quality in flavour and character, Scott and Renae McKinnon source only raw, natural ingredients for Wolf of the Willows ales, a thriving craft beer brand that is popping up in many Brisbane bars. All ales are hop driven, unfiltered and unpasteurised, creating a unique taste across three varieties.

Wolf of the Willows makes three bottled variants. The Extra Pale Ale is infused with extra hops, with a biscuity malt flavour and soft, rounded bitterness. The Johnny Smoke Porter is a dark brown brew with aromas of espresso, dark chocolate and smoke. Finally, the India Saison boasts a slightly spicy, berry-nut flavour with a dry crisp finish. You can find Wolf of the Willows at Fitz + Potts, Brisbane Brewing Co, The Stables Craft Beer and Kitchen, Archive Beer Boutique, Brewski, The Scratch and at many more locations. For more information on the brews and a complete list of stockists, check out the Wolf of the Willows website.
