Be your own bunny with the UberEATS Easter Egg Hunt
Depending on your commitment levels, one Easter tradition that tends to die out as you descend into adulthood is the humble egg hunt. How we long for the thrill of finding and devouring a tasty sweet treat that has been carefully hidden for us to seek out! Your childhood fantasies are about to come back to life this Sunday April 16 thanks to UberEATS – and you don’t even have to leave your house to go looking.
So what’s the deal? UberEATS is taking on the role of your parents (or the Easter Bunny, depending on how sheltered you are) and hiding mouth-watering 300 g Easter eggs from New Farm Confectionery around Brisbane’s inner city suburbs. From 11:00 am on Easter Sunday, you can find the eggs around the CBD, West End, South Bank, Annerley, Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills, Windsor and Milton – all you have to do is search through your favourite restaurants’ menus to find them.
Once you’ve located an egg in the restaurant’s menu, you can order it just like you would a regular item. The eggs are valued at $32 each, but for the hunt you can nab one for just $5 plus the $5 booking fee. Not too shabby at all! If you’re new to UberEATS, you can use the code CHFEATS10 for $10 off your first order and play for free. Just for an extra dose of warm and fuzzies, you can also munch with pride knowing that for every first-time eater, UberEATS will donate $10 to the Children’s Hospital Foundation. How sweet indeed.
