Treasury Brisbane’s jam-packed Christmas hampers have arrived to take the stress out of December 25

Apart from unwrapping the presents under the Christmas tree, the other activity we most look forward to doing on Christmas is tucking in to a smorgasbord of festive eats. However, planning for a whole day (or lets be real, multiple days) worth of feasting is hard work. This Christmas, Treasury Brisbane invites you to turn off the oven and hand over the kitchen duties to its dedicated culinary crew instead. The result will be a taste bud-tantalising Christmas hamper that will leave you in the best food coma that December 25 has ever seen.

This year Treasury Brisbane is offering not one, but two, flavour-packed takeaway Christmas hampers with all of the trimmings. Once again, Treasury’s culinary team has curated a jam-packed traditional Christmas hamper that will have you salivating on site. For $115 per person (for four guests or more), you can graze on meaty morsels such as roast beef, roast turkey with cranberry stuffing, baked ham, chipolata sausages, and barramundi portions. Then you’ll have to get the tongs out for servings of garden salad, roasted root vegetables, cauliflower and broccoli bake, seasonal steamed vegetables, and rustic slaw. The savoury side of the feast is finished off with traditional roast gravy and bread rolls with butter, while a seafood upgrade ($25 per person) can level up your banquet with piles of prawns with lemons and cocktail sauce. On the sweet side, dessert lovers can fill their plate with rum balls, fruit mince tarts, sticky date pudding, mini lemon tarts, yule log, gingerbread cookies, White Christmas, rocky road, brownies, cinnamon stars, and custard, caramel and chocolate sauce.

Those who want to stray from the traditional this Christmas can order the Taste of Asia hamper ($115 per person for four guests or more), which is brimming with Asian-inspired delights. Hungry folk will be able to lap up the likes of crispy pork belly, char sui pork, whole Peking duck with pancakes, sweet and sour prawns, hokkien noodles, chicken soup with crab, and chicken black bean. If that’s not enough to curb your appetite, you can stack your plate high with Asian vegetables, steamed and fried rice, pickled vegetables, tofu salad and the famous Fat Noodle chicken salad. You’ll also get a bunch of chilli and soy sauce to accompany your mouth-watering meal. More decadent dishes will come in the form of rice balls with ginger sauce, pandan brulee, sticky date pudding, rum balls, gingerbread cookies, mini yuzu tarts, brownies, cinnamon stars and a matcha yule log.

Book your takeaway Christmas hamper at the Treasury Brisbane website today. Orders must be placed before Friday December 16 unless sold out prior. Members of The Star Club can call 07 3306 8852 and provide their Membership Card number prior to ordering to receive a 20-percent discount code. Orders can be collected at Treasury Hotel from December 23–24 between 1:30–5:30 pm.
