Pack your food-loving friends into the car and head north along the M1 to reach the abundant culinary pantry that is the Sunshine Coast – a region rich in fresh produce and creative food producers. The Curated Plate four-day destination food festival will makes its debut from Thursday August 8 to Sunday August 11.

Celebrating the significant relationship between chef and food producer, The Curated Plate festival will highlight the local region’s delicious produce and the land and sea artisans who cultivate it. Think jet ski food safaris, multiple-course feasts from internationally renowned chefs, beach cinemas and farm-to-table experiences.

Festival highlights include Good Food Presents The Legends Lunch, which will see Peter Gilmore of Quay and Bennelong fame teaming up with Franklin’s Analiese Gregory for a long lunch with matched wines in the glorious Yandina Station, while A Regional Evolution will involve a forage-focused, boundary-pushing dining experience showcasing the area’s local produce. Other events will include an outdoor beach cinema and top nosh at Moffat Beach, The Food Fair at Maroochydore’s Black Swan Park and craft beer tours, alongside more food and destination events to be announced in May.
