The Street Photographer: The Roastery Cafe

While the smell of roasting coffee wafts from the roasting half of the converted warehouse, accents of red, white and yellow catch the eye at The Roastery Cafe. Taking appearance seriously, The Roastery Cafe has ensured its latte art isn’t the only thing to be hitting top design notes since opening in March this year. Workers cage lights hang above the shiny La Marzocco machine, while a rustic wooden communal table sits in the middle of the cafe space. Colourful stools span the length of a wooden bench on one side, the trio of hues continuing the theme to the alleyway seating space out the back of the cafe. Here exposed brick wall meets vibrant street art – a pleasant spot to sip on one of Rouge Coffee’s four refined blends or a Tea Drop tea.
