Swiftly satiate your sweets craving with The Mason Baker’s cupcake ATM

Let’s be real, a serious cake hankering (cankering?) can strike at any moment. Usually if you’re at work or at home, you can quickly pop to the shops to quell the craving. But what if you’re out on the town? The geniuses at The Mason Baker have introduced a novel concept that is designed to ensure cake is never far from reach. A bright-pink cupcake ATM has appeared in Fortitude Valley, giving revellers a chance to indulge in The Mason Baker’s delightful jar cakes while in peak party mode.

James Willis of The Mason Baker seems to have made it his mission to make cake easier to eat. The Mason Baker’s range of desserts in jars make the consumption process far less messy than sticking a fork into a wedge of cake, and its online build-a-box offering makes obtaining a variety of flavours a cinch. This month will see James and The Mason Baker team trial an adventurous-yet-intriguing concept – a cupcake ATM. Yes, that’s right – a bright candy pink vending machine has been set up in the heart of Fortitude Valley, giving those amongst you with a wickedly sharp sweet tooth quick access to The Mason Baker’s range via some speedy contactless interaction.

The ATM – created in partnership with Worldwide Vending – can be found inside Kickons Bar on Warner Street (the site previously home to Little Valley), and will be active on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 5:00 pm until late. Obtaining one of The Mason Baker jar cakes is as simple as selecting your favourite flavour from the ATM screen (including options such as salted caramel, chocolate ganache, blueberry and lemons, and strawberries and cream), tapping your card and withdrawing your choice from the dispensing flap. The Mason Baker ATM will be around until the end of February, so be sure to act quickly and stock up before it moves!
