The Lazy Elephant

The Lazy Elephant launches lunchtime delivery service

If you’re trapped inside your office cubicle and the belly grumbles have come a-knocking, The Lazy Elephant can deliver delicious respite with Asian street food.

For those days when you just can’t be bothered to leave the office – or can’t get out from under the mound of work on your desk – a new venture has started up in Brisbane delivering delicious hampers of Thai street food straight to your desk. Run by the girls who founded Brisbane snack food favourite Happy Little Dumplings, The Lazy Elephant brings gourmet meals to Brisbane’s imprisoned office workers.

Candice and Mellita have gathered homegrown and organic produce and teamed up with award-winning chef Kesinee Sae Jung of Golden Buddha to provide tasty morsels like chicken pad thai, peking duck dumplings and satay grilled chicken with sticky rice.

Some vegan and vegetarian options have also earned a spot on the menu, in the form of tofu green curry, papaya salad and tofu coriander dumplings. Office workers can book in their Lazy Lunch orders on a casual or permanent basis, with a minimum of five orders per delivery to the Brisbane City and surrounding area.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Brisbane dining guide with more than 2400 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
