Known for its comfort food oriented menu and substantial portion sizes, Comfort At My Table is a popular spot for foodies and professionals on the go. When former owner, Naomi Zavackas sold her business, it was to devote more time to producing her own line of jams and preserves. Seeking a kitchen space to mass-produce her products, Naomi stumbled across a premises in Greenslopes that could double as a cafe and, with a jolt of inspiration, The Jam Pantry was born.

The menu at The Jam Pantry features a set menu of classic items that all incorporate a condiment component, creating a fresh twist on every meal. Many meals combine sweet and savoury elements, such as the Avo Toast with pickled fresh strawberries, or Nims’ Eggs that pairs poached eggs and streaky bacon with banana chutney and pesto. In addition to the classics, The Jam Pantry also serves up a range of 12 meals that rotate frequently. The menu is entirely produce driven, meaning that Naomi can tap into her passion for produce and experiment with flavour combinations regularly.

The Jam Pantry also serves as the main distribution centre for Naomi’s jams and preserves. The range is set to expand over the next six months to incorporate the flavours and concoctions that can currently only be found on The Jam Pantry’s menu, such as The Whole Pantry’s peach relish and the BLT’s bacon jam. With more space to create and more freedom to experiment, Naomi is finding The Jam Pantry to be a creatively fulfilling venture, much to the benefit of Greenslopes residents.
