Vegan hub The Green Edge moves to Windsor
Windsor seems to be a suburb to watch at the moment with Espresso House Windsor, Holly Rose florist and fabric store and The Low Road Cafe having moved in recently. Now vegan grocer The Green Edge has picked up from its Enoggera locale and shifted north, tucked at the back of Windsor Corner, where Lutwyche Road and Le Geyt Street intersect.
While it’s mostly operating as a grocer at this stage, The Green Edge will soon have its coffee and coconut milk smoothies up and running again, while the deluxe veggie burgers will return once the kitchen is installed – followed by a full breakfast and lunch menu. The new space used to combined a grocer, newsagent and post office all in one, with the extra room meaning owners Cale and Amanda can expand the product range and turn The Green Edge into a fully fledged vegan cafe.
Favouring healthy, organic, locally produced and fairtrade products, The Green Edge takes care to consider the origin of each item that comes through its doors and the impact these products have on animals, people and the environment.
