Feast until you’re full at the new Food Truck Hub on Chester
Foodies – prepare your belts! Brisbane’s best street-food dispensaries will be descending on the Fortitude Valley on Friday May 12 for a new permanent food truck night. Chester Street will be inundated by wing wagons, burger buggies and pizza mobiles every Friday night – meaning that we’ve got another reason to proclaim TGIF at week’s end.
Brisbane’s street-food scene has been going from strength to strength over the past few years, and the growth shows no sign of shopping with the arrival of a brand-new weekly food truck congregation. The Food Truck Collective – known for bringing together the best trucks in town – recently announced that street-food connoisseurs will be able to get their fix every Friday at a new weekly event The Food Truck Hub on Chester. A vacant space on the corner of Chester and Ann Streets will be given over to a veritable oasis of culinary excellence, complete with live music plenty of undercover seating.
The inaugural Food Truck Hub on Chester will feature six of the best in Brisbane – including King Of The Wings, Micasa Food Truck, The Bone Lorry, That BBQ Joint, Pizzantica and Ruby the Little Red Ice Cream Van. That’s a good chunk of your key food groups covered. The event kicks off at 6:00 pm sharp – make sure you are prompt to ensure that you can sample everything.
