The Eatery dishes top-notch lunch in Brisbane City

Time-pressed city workers can swing by The Eatery at Four Points by Sheraton for quality cafe fare in a relaxed setting.

The Four Points by Sheraton hotel opened its doors amongst much fanfare in March, bringing with it two new dining offerings for city dwellers, worker bees and hotel guests. All-day dining venue The Eatery and deli-style cafe and bar Wrapped cater to the crowds with simple, spot-on fare in relaxed surrounds. Executive chef Desmond Carneiro twists regional Queensland produce into a well-rounded list of dishes, embracing a farm-to-table approach and a focus on local. Graze from your pick of The Eatery’s self-serve buffet or opt for the a la carte menu, which travels from shucked oysters and whole prawns with garlic butter for entrees to sous-vide Atlantic salmon with haloumi, butter-poached green beans and tomato essence, wild mushroom risotto with shaved pecorino and preserved lemon zest, or the popular Four Points burger with thick-cut fries for mains. Sweet offerings tempt with strawberry and lychee panna cotta, bitter chocolate tart with a thyme crust and macerated rhubarb, and a generous cheese platter dotted with lavosh and quince paste.

Those in a hurry can choose from a wide range of grab-and-go options from the lobby space at Wrapped, including sandwiches, grilled paninis, coffee, cakes and pastries. If you have time to spare, take a seat inside or out and graze on the cafe menu by day or enjoy a cold beer, cocktail or glass of wine in the bar as the sun sets over the city.
