Culinary excellence on offer at The Collective Chef Series

Harvest Cafe is hosting a series of events that will see two notable chefs face off in a battle of the kitchens, with the only guaranteed winner being the dinner guests.

Throughout the coming year the Harvest Cafe in Newrybar outside of Byron Bay will be hosting a series of dinners – called The Collective Chef Series – pairing Harvest’s executive chef Bret Cameron with other notable chefs for an evening of decadent dining. On Saturday August 15, Bret will be working alongside celebrity chef Colin Fassnidge in the kitchen to prepare a dinner of sumptuous quality using the finest produce in the area.

Known primarily as the intimidating judge from My Kitchen Rules, Colin Fassnidge is also an accomplished chef in his own right, currently working as the executive chef at The Four in Hand Dining Room in Paddington, Sydney and 4Fourteen in Surry Hills. Before taking over the kitchen at Harvest Cafe, Bret Cameron also worked at The Four in Hand, establishing a great working relationship with Colin that will be evidenced in the food they prepare. Also attending the dinner on the evening will be Castagna winemaker Adam Castagna and Pete Rogers from Naked Bunch. The dinner will encompass six courses as well as canapes on arrival. To make a reservation, get in touch with Harvest Cafe through [email protected] or 02 6687 2644.
