Some of Kingaroy’s finest produce comes courtesy of TASTE South Burnett. Regional fare from the Bunya Mountains and beyond is available just a short roadtrip from Brisbane.

Shannon and Megan Scott are the owners of TASTE South Burnett, a hub for goods sourced from around Kingaroy and the Bunya Mountains. After fostering a love for the scenic vistas and tastes of the South Burnett region, Shannon and Megan took over TASTE in 2010 and have been responsible for spreading the good word and good flavours of the area ever since. From wine to cheeses and olives, TASTE South Burnett has something for every palate.

On April 17 and 18, TASTE South Burnett will be venturing to the Eat Street Markets to showcase some of its wares. On offer will be smooth and creamy fudge, which is gluten-free and available in trays or packs of one, three, five or nine. Should you suddenly get a craving for a snack, grab some of the Kingaroy-grown peanuts, one of TASTE’s most highly sought products. Finally, of special note is the hand-grown Bunya Red Farm capers, the award-winning plant that is packed with Pacific sea salt and is gluten and preservative free.
