Tall Short Espresso makes a move to Eagle Lane

The vintage red VW kombi van that is Tall Short Espresso has traversed the river from South Bank to Riverside, now finding a weekday home at Eagle Lane. You may have noticed its very rouge existence pop up at Brisbane Festival this year, as the van caters to events about town as well as a usual weekday spot.

From one waterfront location to (almost) another, Tall Short Espresso has picked up from its spot under The Wheel of Brisbane and hopped across the bridge to Eagle Street Pier. Crafting well-brewed cups of coffee, always accompanied by a complimentary gingerbread man, Tall Short Espresso is a well-kitted-out locale for all your caffeinated needs.

The beans are from Melbourne-based, family-run company Dimattina, which has been roasting coffee since the 1950s, its blends working well with milk-based coffees. Also on hand are cool Pellegrino drinks and Emma & Tom’s juices. Run by friends-since-university Craig Thompson (Short) and Anthony Perry (Tall), this nomadic coffee joint is a go-to spot for caffeine-fuelled perk-ups and laughs with the team.
