Street Food Australia launch

Street Food Australia launches at IMA

From early sketches of solar-powered carts to reaching its Pozible campaign target, Street Food Australia is finally launching this Thursday February 7 with a street party at IMA.

Setting up in the courtyard, the launch will see a range of street food vendors serving delicious morsels of various ethnicities. On the night, the bespoke bicycle vendors will be serving a multicultural platter of foodstuffs, including three varietals of steamed Chinese dumplings, South American elote (corn on the cob), tequila ribs and mini banh mi with pork belly or tofu.

Live music by Greshka will fill the air and Scrumptious Reads is hosting a pop-up foodie book bike shop. There’s no entry fee, but you will need cash for food, with all mini-meals priced at $5. Dedicated to transforming Brisbane’s streets with bicycle-driven street food and showcasing the diverse cuisines of our talented migrants, Street Food Australia is one exciting local venture worth following. Head along to the IMA between 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm to show your support.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Brisbane dining guide with more than 2400 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
