Skull It sets up new digs in Winn Lane

Bakery Lane’s hip, tiki-themed juice and smoothie cart has now transformed into a fully fledged vegan eats and dessert bar, offering a range of healthy goodies that pack a tonne of fruity flavour.

Pixie Weyand started Skull It as a humble operation based in Bakery Lane, serving cold-press juices and smoothies for those seeking a healthy hit. Not content to leave things as they were, Pixie jumped at an opportunity to move across the road to Winn Lane to open a permanent location with a greater range. Skull It now boasts kitchen facilities for prepping and serving a new range of vegan and gluten-free treats, with a new sit-down menu on offer in addition to scrumptious takeaway options.

The all-vegan menu at Skull It offers a range of simple dishes that are still tasty and healthy. Vegan pizzas, nachos, bruschetta, arancini salads and sharing boards are on offer, as well as a strawberry and lemonade or apple and cinnamon vegan sundae for a sweet treat. If you pop by during the day, you will be able to nab yourself a paleta, otherwise known as a popsicle, which comes in four flavours including kiwi and watermelon, cookies and cream, chai latte and chilli and mango. Other snacks include veggie stacks, cupcakes, slices and acai bowls – all of which are made on-site and are vegan. Thirsty patrons will still be able to enjoy the full range of juices and smoothies – great for pre or post-workout or simply some heat-busting refreshment. Skull It also serves fair trade and organic coffee supplied by Montville Coffee. For opening hours and more information, head to the Stumble Guide.
