Carbs and cocktails take centre stage every Wednesday evening at Vapiano, where tipple lovers can score a $5 citrus spritz with their meal as part of the Cocktails for a Cause initiative. This $5 is then donated to a charity of their choice via a voting platform on Vapiano’s website – a win-win situation, if you ask us. Cocktails for a Cause hopes to outperform 2019’s Drink Pink Wednesdays campaign, which raised over $70,000 for Share the Dignity, a charity that assists those in crisis experiencing period poverty.

There are three charities to select from at each Vapiano location for Cocktails for a Cause, including two national charities and one local charity. Charities that can be donated to include The Seedling Bank by Planet Ark, Orange Sky, Dig In (Vapiano Albert Lane), Meals on Wheels Mount Gravatt (Vapiano Garden City) and Macleod Refuge (Vapiano Surfers Paradise).
