She Bangs Coffee opens at Albion
On weekends you’ll find a line of caffeine-hungry market goers lining up for a steaming cup of coffee from She Bangs Coffee at Jan Powers Farmers Markets in New Farm or the Moggill Markets in Brookfield. And now the popular roving coffee hut has found permanent digs in Albion. Offering local workers in the industrial precinct solace amongst the baron office and workshop surrounds, new coffee haunt She Bangs Coffee serves up a well-crafted coffee and nourishing bites to eat.
Surprising folk with its bright red abode and green astroturf, She Bangs Coffee has applied a rustic touch to the space while keeping with the area’s industrial theme. Exuding a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere, She Bangs Coffee features corrugated iron cladding, outdoor seating in the warmth of the sun and buckets of sunflowers set at the cafe’s entrance. Inside sees a rustic communal table surrounded by a mix of refurbished wooden stools and potted succulents and bunches of flowers set on tables.
At breakfast, the Bacon and Egg Bagel comes with draped Swiss cheese and lashings of hollandaise sauce, while the Fruit Toast with ricotta cheese and honey will satisfy sweet cravings. Sip on rich Genovese coffee in She Bangs Coffee’s vibrant surrounds, or grab a takeaway and stroll over to Windsor Park to enjoy with a picnic. With the aim to share her staff’s knowledge of coffee, owner Rhiannon also offers tailored barista courses in house for the home barista or experienced coffee connoisseur.
