Matt Moran’s Riverbar & Kitchen opens in Brisbane City
Brisbane is about to be home to a second venue from the lads behind renowned restaurant, ARIA. This weekend, Matt Moran and Peter Sullivan will open Riverbar & Kitchen, posited where Boardwalk Bar & Bistro used to sit.
Tucked along the promenade level under Riparian Plaza, Riverbar & Kitchen is the latest foodie venture to join the Riverside precinct. Boasting an open-plan floor to maximise water-and-bridge-viewing potential, the restaurant harnesses the Queensland summer vibe, with a tropical garden reaching out onto the boardwalk.
Indoors, quintessential elements like VJ weatherboards, bleached wood and vintage nautical props enhance the tropical weather vibe, while the Pimm’s Jug For Four completes the relaxed atmosphere. The wine list sees Australian flavours come together with those of New Zealand and Europe, while the menu channels a mix of shared plates, grills and seafood.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, Riverbar & Kitchen is suited to both the business-meeting brunch and Sunday afternoon swill.
Riverbar & Kitchen will open from Saturday this weekend.
