South Brisbane’s Peel Street Grill and Cellar offers dynamic dining

Just a stone’s throw from South Bank’s Cultural Precinct, Peel Street Grill and Cellar provides a layered and boutique dining experience that caters to hunger, taste and price.

South Bank’s pre-show dining crowd have a new food option at their disposable thanks to the opening of Peel Street Grill and Cellar. Taking over and revitalising the space formerly occupied by Peel Street Kitchen, this new establishment is offering a comprehensive menu of nibbles and more substantial fare as well as a hefty selection of wines sourced from around Australia. Although long wine lists are often intimidating, Peel Street Grill and Cellar has curated a list that is approachable and includes a broad range of well-priced varieties. Patrons can enjoy the wines with their meal and purchase a bottle of their favourite drop from the cellar at retail price.

The food offering at Peel Street Grill and Cellar is divided into two parts, a cheese and charcuterie selection and a larger bistro-dining menu. Diners can snack on boutique cheeses that are flown up regularly direct from producers and regions in Australia’s south, paired with meats such as smoked wagyu and Sardinian salumi. The bistro menu is a layered affair, with varying meal sizes to cater for group dining or three-course meals. OP ribs on the bone and rump steaks are available, as is a pizza and pasta selection. Peel Street Grill and Cellar also boasts a large function room with full bar and audio-visual capabilities. The entire venue is available for hire and can accommodate 200 guests.
