South Bank standout Stokehouse Q is farewelling the final days of summer with a seafood feast to rival Robinson Crusoe’s daily nibbling. Head chef Richard Ousby has put a local spin on the traditional Californian Clam Bake, dishing up delights like chilli, lime and coriander pinwheels, prawn cocktails, clam chowder, sand crab, tua tua clams, crispy oysters and barbecued clams. The underwater spread will be complemented by Cloudy Bay’s crisp sauvignon blanc and sparkling, a live DJ and a river setting.
