Noosa International Food and Wine Festival

Noosa Food and Wine celebrates ten-year milestone

Celebrating its ten-year milestone, the Noosa International Food and Wine Festival returns to the beachside town from May 16–19 for four days of gastronomic pleasure. The 2013 festival will present a host of new additions to the line-up, including a world-first Gala Opening Night, featuring the best culinary masters chopping, blending and whisking in time to the Queensland Virtuosi Orchestra.

The world’s best chefs will descend upon the coastal town for the Noosa International Food and Wine Festival, with Mark Best of Marque Restaurant in Sydney and Andre Chiang of restaurant ANDRE in Singapore amongst the rankings of highly acclaimed interstate and international talents venturing to Queensland. Amongst those world-renowned food scientists are two Michelin-starred players Italo-Argentinian chef Mauro Colagreco of restaurant Mirazur on the French Riviera and Carlo Cracco of Ristorante Cracco in Milan.

Leading Queensland names like Matt Golinski, Alastair McLeod and Ryan Squires will also present the best of the state at a formidable lunch, while food trails, cultural lunches, riverside picnics, cooking demonstrations, masterclasses and degustations are also set to draw a crowd. Organised punters can plan their intensive visit with the assistance of the complete festival program. For your chance to mingle with masters of epicure and wine, purchase tickets here.
