The cafe is the brainchild of Natalie and Rhiannon, a couple with a passion for breakfast food and good coffee, who secured the perfect spot in suburban Clayfield. The space boasts exposed brick walls and simple yet comfortably worn in furniture, creating a rugged industrial feel that evokes a distinctly Melbournian aesthetic.

My Mistress invites you to have an affair with flavour, as its menu has a selection of scandalously titled meals that tantalise the tastebuds. Stop by for a ‘Cheeky Fling’ and grab a snack for the road, sit down for a ‘Main Affair’ and indulge in the Eggs Marilyn (Monroe) or Eggs Monica (Lewinsky) or be seduced by the Head Mistress. If you aren’t satisfied, get a little something “On the Side” to complete your rendezvous. My Mistress’s menu is comprised of ingredients sourced locally, with Genovese coffee to accompany your meal.

Both Natalie and Rhiannon place emphasis on good service, dishing up food that they themselves want to eat. Although the name might say otherwise, My Mistress is a wholesome establishment that can effortlessly satisfy.
