Inspiring cheesecake lovers all over, Andrew Williams, a former construction manager, had had enough of working away from home and decided to change the perceptions of how cheesecake can be consumed.

The result was Music Box Cheesecakes and Andrew as been experimenting with different ways of serving and eating cheesecake ever since. Starting with serving his delicious sweets in 120-ml plastic cups, Andrew soon introduced glass-jared cheesecakes, chocolate-lined waffle cones with a scoop of cheesecake, cheesecake cupcakes, cheesecake sundaes, full cake-sized cheesecakes and cheesecake cookies. The Music Box Cheesecakes winter warmer for market goers is the Sticky Fingers, warm sticky date slice with a choice of cheesecake, dark chocolate sauce, nuts and cream.

Andrew’s recipe for cheesecake results in a rich and decadent texture, with a little going a long way. His cheesecake flavours include mint chocolate, mango and lime, rum and raisin, apple pie (with freshly stewed apples), salted caramel, cookies and cream, spiced sweet potato (baked in orange juice, ginger and cinnamon with a taste similar to a cinnamon doughnut) and Baileys Irish cream.

Andrew’s business name stems from the idea that there are a symphony of flavours is his range and you can pick and choose any variation of these when buying by the carton. Why be fixed to one flavour? Music Box Cheesecakes sets up its market stall at the Fig Tree Farmers Market each Wednesday and Eat Street Markets on the weekend, and orders for events, functions or a weekend dinner party can be made online.
