Bite into the latest food craze at Mr. Scroll

Step aside doughnuts, cronuts, doissants and cruffins, the latest food craze to hit the markets is the reintroduction of the humble scroll.

Mr. Scroll is the brainchild of Andrew Lane and Luke Burton. Both gents are students, and while completing their studies the latest food craze, evident in our southern states, caught their attention. Originally teaming up with a bakery in Sydney, the pair would freight freshly baked scrolls from the bakery each Friday in time to attend to the food frenzy at Eat Street Markets.

Recently with cost and freshness in mind, Mr. Scroll has teamed up with local bakers at La Vosh Patisserie to reinvent their menu. Attending Red Hill Farmers Markets, Carseldine Farmers and Artisan Market and Davies Park Market of late, the boys are consolidating their offering while they introduce new flavours each week. Currently the basic menu includes salted caramel, Nutella, cookies and cream and cinnamon scrolls, with the team working on white chocolate raspberry, chocolate hazelnut and apple and custard in time for their return to Eat Street Markets within the next month.
