Noods at home – Motto Motto launches its own Japanese meal kit range Kyoto
When it comes to finding the most oishii (delicious) Japanese eats in Brisbane, premium-casual restaurant chain Motto Motto is a go-to destination for many. The crew behind the innovative eatery is launching a new concept, this time taking its beloved recipes and repackaging them for at-home consumption. Introducing Kyoto – a new ready-made meal brand serving nourishing Japanese comfort food straight to your door.
As we progress further into autumn, we’re starting to experience a noticeable drop in temperatures. Yes, winter is coming, which means ramen weather is on the horizon. Unfortunately we’re all stuck in isolation thanks to the COVID-19 outbreak, but thankfully the brains behind Motto Motto and fine-diner Sono have come up with a solution. The team has just unveiled a brand-new at-home meal kit brand called Kyoto, which is serving a range of delicious easy-to-prepare Japanese meals that are available through contactless home delivery.
Currently Kyoto’s selection includes three kinds of ramen – classic, red (spicy) and black (garlic) – each of which comes with pre-prepared 12-hour-cooked ramen broth (perfect for chasing the winter chill from your bones), tender slow-cooked pork belly, shallots, bamboo and noodles. Simply cook the raw noodles on the stove, heat the broth in the microwave, combine and eat. If you’re feeling fancy, you can even add a soft boiled egg to really step it up a notch. Also available in the range is a classic karaage chicken curry, which comes with Japanese-style fried chicken, authentic curry sauce and rice. This one is even easier to prepare – it can all be done in the microwave!
Keen to bring Kyoto into your own home? Head to the Kyoto website and place an order! Deliveries for the Brisbane metropolitan area take place every Tuesday and Friday. Ensure your order has been placed by midday Monday for a Tuesday delivery and by midday Thursday for Friday delivery. There is no delivery fee on orders over $50.
