Messina Gelato Bars have landed in your local grocery store
After partnering with Drumstick last year to bring Messina cones to supermarkets, the iced-goods crew at Gelato Messina have jumped back in the sack with Peters to conceive a new delectable dessert. The result is Messina Gelato Bars – three classic Messina flavour combos filled with melt-in-your-mouth hand-made sauces. We will risk brain freeze for this.
Strolling through the frozen-goods aisle at your local supermarket got a whole lot more exciting this week as Gelato Messina Bars have just dropped! There are three lip-licking flavours to choose from, each one sure to take up room in your freezer this summer. First up is the Choc Hazelnut Gelato Bar, a cocoa gelato layered with chocolate biscuit and hazelnut sauce and finished off with a robe of hazelnut chocolate. Coffee lovers can indulge in the Espresso Dulce De Leche Gelato Bar, an espresso gelato with a biscuit and gooey dulce de leche centre, encased in mouth-watering milk chocolate. Completing the trilogy is the Strawberry Cheesecake Gelato Bar, a lemon-infused gelato with biscuit and strawberry sauce and covered in pink chocolate – the perfect choice for fruit-loving folk.
You’ll find these sweet treats in packs of four at Coles, Woolworths and independent grocery stores for just $10. If you simply can’t get enough of the frosty sauce-infused ice-creams, head to your local Gelato Messina to score a jar of the delectable house-made spreads. Nutella is shaking.
