Pick up Glasshouse Mountain pineapples from McLeod’s Agriculture
We all know that munching on organic or spray-free fruit and vegetables provides your body with the vitamins and minerals for good health. It’s that simple, fill your body with the good stuff and stay away from the bad stuff!
Bevan McLeod is an former dairy farmer and when he discovered the actual contents of many farm fertilisers he decided to make his own certified-organic products under the name McLeod’s Agriculture. As Bevan travels around the country delivering his organic fertiliser to farms, he has formed good relationships and decided set up a market stall stocking some of the farm-fresh produce alongside his liquid and granular fertilisers for home gardens. Selling the fresh-farmed results of his fertiliser is a great way for Bevan to engage with market goers about the benefits of his organic products.
Bevan’s market stall at the Kelvin Grove Village Markets and Boggo Road Markets stocks produce like pineapples from the Glasshouse Mountains, garlic, ginger and turmeric from Northern New South Wales, cucumbers from Esk and eggs from Hervey Bay.
Stop by and say hello to Bevan at this weekend’s market and discover why cow, pig and chook manure as well as natural minerals is the best combination for food for your soil. Bevan is a colourful character and comes complete with all sorts of tips for your home gardening including vegetable gardens. You might also go home with a basket full of farm fresh produce to for inspiration!
