Whilst pizza followed by gelato is a pretty fantastic way to celebrate Italian cuisine, these delicacies only scratch the surface of Italy’s rich and colourful street-food scene.

Of the many delightful appetisers that hail from the land shaped like a boot, Mangia Mangia Italian Street Goods have got the basics covered. Expect to find delicious morsels such as arancini meatball subs and panino, deep-fried lasagne bites, and truffle mushroom, basil pesto and bolognese arancini. You can also indulge in the gooey goodness that is tomato and mozzarella panzerotti as well as Nutella panzerotti , thinly sliced fried potatoes and the Mangia Mangia creation, Italian sushi.

Sam Cochrane and Ben Fuse are the creators of Mangia Mangia and both have a strong hospitality background. With Ben growing up and starting his culinary career in Italy, the Mangia Mangia Italian integrity is clear to see. On a recent trip to the south of Italy to visit Ben’s family, the pair were inspired to use the recipes from Ben’s childhood infused with an Australian twist in their food truck venture. Good quality local ingredients in simple, uncomplicated Italian food is the Mangia Mangia mantra. Mangia Mangia Italian Street Goods is pleasing the crowds at number of roadside events such as Thank Truck It’s Thursday at Wandering Cooks, Park Food Trucks, Brooky Bite Nite and Downey Park Food Trucks.
