Madame Moules Supper Club launches at Southside Tea Room

The humble mussel is taking the spotlight at the first Madame Moules Supper Club event at Southside Team Room next Monday February 3.

This summer heat may have you pining for a dip in the ocean, but Brisbane dwellers need look no further than Morningside for a taste of salty goodness next Monday February 3. In what is set to be a deliciously oceanic affair, local chefette Madame Moules will take to the kitchen and whip up a seafood feast for the lucky bums seated at Southside Tea Room.

Diners can tuck in to three spectacular courses, starting with Swedish creamy dill prawn toast, moving on to a main of moules marinieres served with organic crusty bread and Pepe Saya butter, and concluding with sumptuous Belgian chocolate mousse. The sounds of cutlery rattling against rapidly emptying plates will be complemented by the clinking of sparkling wine or beer glasses and moody French tunes. Tickets are selling fast, but those who miss out can keep watch for the next Madame Moules Supper Club feast at a different Brisbane venue in March.
