Ltd espresso + brew bar opens in Fortitude Valley
Inspired by the act of sitting and being served at a bar for your well-crafted morning espresso in Italy, Ltd espresso + brew bar in Fortitude Valley is a purist coffee haunt. Predominately black and white, with touches of wood and mason-jar lighting, the minimalist interior at Ltd lets the coffee take focus.
The creation of doyen Luke Shilling, Ltd has the backing of Luke’s 12 years in the coffee industry, with many of those years spent in coffee training and education. Passionate about teaching sippers about the beans, flavours and processes that go into each cup, Luke aims for each visit to be a lesson in coffee science.
Using Cleanskin Coffee Co. beans with a La Marzocco Strada EP pressure profile machine, Luke is able to fully control the pressure in which the water extracts each brew, manipulating the brightness, sweetness and florals of each cup. Separate rotating beans are used for black and milky coffees, with pour overs and cold-pressed iced coffee also available.
For those seeking a lactose-free coffee experience, you won’t find any soy milk on site; however, Luke assures he will craft a flavourful black coffee that your palate will relish.
