Treat yourself to Halloween-themed market food at Little Lady Peruvian Cuisine

This weekend’s Eat Street Markets is blending the Mexican Day of the Dead and Halloween into one big freaky celebration.

Many of the Eat Street Markets stalls are joining the party and donning playful costumes as well as serving up themed dishes for the weekend. One such stall is Little Lady Peruvian Cuisine who will be sharing its spirit through the love of Peruvian food and will have weekend specials including black rice paella with prawns and seafood sauce.

Little Lady’s Isabela Vega grew up in Peru’s capital of Lima and is proud to share her country’s strong food culture with Brisbane’s market goers. Isabela’s regular menu consists of traditional seafood and chorizo Peruvian paella, beef-and-bacon-stuffed potato as well as Peruvian yellow chicken curry.

Little Lady Peruvian Cuisine will also be handing out lolly bags this weekend that will include traditional Chicha lollies made from purple corn, which is only found in Peru. Keep an eye out for Isabela’s stall this weekend as it will be colourfully decorated with traditional clothing of the village people from near the lost Incan city of Machu Picchu.

Dress the kids in their scariest costume and make-up and head down to Eat Street Markets this weekend and join in the spooky celebrations.
