Say hello to Stone & Wood’s spicy little friend – Little Dragon ginger beer

Can Stone & Wood’s family, Fermentum, do no wrong? Not content with opening up a brand-new Stone & Wood brewery or slinging new releases (such as their sister-brand Sunly Seltzer) like there’s no tomorrow, they’ve gone and released Little Dragon, an alcoholic ginger beer. It’s fun, fresh and perfect for an afternoon session in the sunshine.

Ginger beer is one of those drinks that can just be, well, a lot. Some are too sweet, some are too spicy, and it can be hard to enjoy more than one if it’s way too sugary. Well, that ain’t Little Dragon. Hitting the perfect balance between refreshing, zingy and a touch of sweetness, this is ginger beer that’s delightfully drinkable.Designed to be ‘sessionable’, the alcoholic ginger beer is smashable, but geared to keep you standing from barbecue to kick-ons.

As suckers for branding, we were sold from one look at the label. Little Dragon’s retro-inspired cans are reminiscent of old-school Australiana and even manage to make a lizard look cute. Plus, together with Little Dragon’s $10,000 donation to Australian Wildlife Conservancy upon the release of the brew, they’re aiming to donate 1% of all net revenue back to similar foundations and charities every financial year. Little Dragon is ginger beer that’s doing good things and tastes damn fine, too. Cheers to that!

Little Dragon will be available in six-packs of 330ml cans or cartons of 24 cans at bottle shops, venues around the country and the Little Dragon online store, as well as Stone &Wood’s Tasting Rooms in Byron Bay and Brisbane.
