Stop everything – KitKat has released two new flavours in case you needed an excuse to have a break
There are some that believe you can’t mess with a classic – the purists, the OGs – if that’s you then you may want to click away now because there’s nothing for you here. If, however, you believe that recipes are merely guidelines and you enjoy a little culinary creativity – allow us to introduce you, dear reader, to two delectable new flavours of KitKat – Gooey Caramel and Mint Cookie Fudge.
It’s been a big few weeks for chocolate lovers. First there was the announcement that Cadbury was bringing back its magnificent Dairy Milk Marble creation, then there was the news that the humble Polly Waffle will once again return to shelves and now, chocoholics, Nestlé has given its four-finger classic a makeover with two tempting new flavours of KitKat to tickle your tastebuds. Regarded by some as the ideal sweet treat, the crisp chocolate wafers are now available topped with gooey fillings of either oozy, sweet caramel or zingy mint-cookie fudge that is guaranteed to quell your cravings.
Best of all, KitKat Gooey Caramel and KitKat Mint Cookie Fudge have a RRP of just $2 so go forth and rummage for change (between the couch cushions is an excellent place to start) and make haste to your nearest Coles, Woolworths, Big W, independent and convenience stores to try the new culinary creations for yourself.
