Let’s paint a familiar picture – you’re hosting a party and it’s going off. Just when it’s set to go up a notch, you notice you’ve run out of drinks. The bottle shops are closed and the crew are getting restless – disaster looms. At this point, our pals in Sydney and Melbourne could simply call up their mate Jimmy Brings and their problem would be solved in 30 minutes or less. After much clamouring, Brisbane folk are being finally being introduced to Jimmy too. One of Australia’s first on-demand alcohol delivery services, Jimmy Brings is known for dropping off a curated selection of wine, beer and spirits to stranded punters, saving parties, barbecues and gatherings all around town.

This week marks the official arrival of Jimmy Brings in Brisbane, with an initial rollout of 29 suburbs in delivery range. The delivery radius currently extends from Brisbane City and the inner suburbs to the likes of Yeronga, Hamilton, Paddington and many more, with additional suburbs to be added to Jimmy’s sphere of influence in the coming months. Jimmy’s service begins at 11:30 am daily, and ends at 11:00 pm Monday to Wednesday, midnight Thursday through Saturday and until 11:30 pm on Sunday.  Head to the Jimmy Brings website to have a look at the selection on offer, then rest easy knowing that when it comes to last-minute party supplies, Jimmy has your back.
