Movida at James Street Food & Wine Trail

Movida pops up at James Street Food & Wine Trail

Any foodie knows a trip to Melbourne isn’t replete without a visit to one of the suite of MoVida restaurants. Now owner Frank Camorra will be venturing north to Brisbane for the James Street Food & Wine Trail.

This annual epicurean event is set to showcase the culinary talents of the precinct’s chefs, as well as introduce local palates to a feast of multicultural flavours from August 3–10. Kicking off the festivities will be a host of local chefs demonstrating some of the secrets behind their signature dishes. Patrons can indulge in a degustation at Gerard’s Bistro, sample truffles at Scrumptious Reads or visit the Homegrown Laneway and chat to the urban apiarists of Bee One Third.

On Saturday August 10, Frank Camorra will host a free lunchtime outdoor cooking demonstration at James St Market using seasonal produce, before sidling over to Scrumptious Reads for a book signing. To close the event, MoVida will team up with Fino Fine Foods for a tapas takeover of At Sixes and Sevens. Check out the full program here.
