Try teppanyaki with a twist from J.D. Bro Hot Plate

J.D. Bro Hot Plate is a unique street-style teppanyaki stall that combines the aromatic smells and tastes of Taiwan with an entertaining twist.

If you’ve meandered through the winding Boundary Street Markets lately, you might have seen a commotion erupting from J.D. Bro Hot Plate. If you weren’t courageous enough to approach, let us tell you what you missed. J.D. Bro serves Taiwanese teppanyaki that is cooked on a hot plate and combined with homemade black pepper sauce, soy sauce with fresh ingredients. The chefs manning the hot plates boast more than five years of experience in teppanyaki restaurants in Taiwan and are masters of their craft.

The menu features 11 different options including beef, lamb, chicken, prawn, scallop, basa fish, mushrooms and many more. In addition to takeaway meals, J.D. Bro Hot Plate also brings entertainment into its service. Between four and six customers can occupy seats in front of the hot plate to see the chefs at work, with dishes served straight to the plate. In addition to this, every trading day the J.D. Bro hot plate team cosplay in traditional Taiwanese garb and perform an entertaining show for gathered customers. Going out to dinner and a show was never this easy – find J.D. Bro Hot Plate at the Boundary Street Markets every weekend.
